Vanpool Pilot Program - Request for Proposals - START Bus Jackson, WY

The Town of Jackson, Wyoming is seeking proposals for a Vanpool Pilot Program to expand public transportation options. The program should provide a turnkey vanpool service that meets FTA vanpool requirements and is available to employers and employees in Teton County. The service should be able to meet the commute needs of an employer and its employees 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. The proposal should include an outreach, marketing, and participant onboarding program for enrollment in the vanpool program. The guaranteed ride home program should allow participants to easily access an alternative vehicle or reimburse a taxi service a set number of times per year at limited or no additional cost to the participant. • The proposal should include a project team that will collaborate with START and the Jackson/Teton County Travel Demand Management Coordinator. • The proposal should detail how the project team will collect, maintain, and report data for FTA-required National Transit Database and other compliance reporting. • The proposal should include a marketing, promotional, and employer/employee outreach strategic plan. • The proposal should provide detail on a guaranteed ride home program for vanpool program participants. • The proposal should include a plan for vehicle maintenance, insurance, and roadside assistance.
