Generative Unconstrained Intelligence Drug Engineering (GUIDE) collaboration between U.S. interagency, academic and industry partners

The U.S. Army is issuing a Special Announcement to enlist U.S. interagency, academic, and industry partners in the Generative Unconstrained Intelligence Drug Engineering (GUIDE) program. GUIDE is a computational‑experimental platform that uses advanced simulation and machine learning to accelerate the design of medical countermeasures—such as monoclonal antibodies, vaccines, and small‑molecule drugs—by simultaneously optimizing safety, efficacy, manufacturability, and pharmacokinetic/pharmacodynamic attributes. Participation is through a Participant Basic Agreement; interested entities must email the primary contacts demonstrating technical relevance. Awarded projects will be funded under 10 U.S.C. 4022/4023 and will not be subject to the Competition in Contracting Act. • Scope includes R&D on biologics and small‑molecule therapeutics aimed at warfighter protection. • Collaboration involves multiple federal programs (RAPID, VAMP, RAIDR) and requires SAM registration. • No formal bid; entities submit a participation request via email and are evaluated for technical fit before being invited to pursue funded tasks.
