Extreme Loads Tire Force Machine

The United States Air Force is seeking information from potential sources to develop, integrate, and support an Extreme Loads Tire Force Machine (EL-TFM) system. The EL-TFM is a test machine capable of loading up to 250,000 lbs and is used to measure forces on aircraft tires. The system must be able to load the tire in various positions and measure vertical, lateral, and drag forces. The contractor must deliver an EL-TFM system that meets the requirements in the Statement of Work (SOW). • The EL-TFM system must be capable of loading up to 250,000 lbs. • The system must be able to load the tire in various positions, including vertical, yaw, and roll. • The system must be able to measure vertical, lateral, and drag forces. • The system must be able to move the loaded surface at a specified rate. • The contractor must deliver an EL-TFM system that meets the requirements in the SOW.
