Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is seeking a qualified Small Disadvantaged Veteran‑Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) to provide comprehensive elevator inspection, certification, and testing services for the VA San Diego Healthcare System. The contract covers semi‑annual inspections, annual/CAT‑1 inspections, safety testing, and a mandatory 5‑year/CAT‑5 load test for all vertical transportation units (VTUs) including elevators, dumbwaiters, wheelchair lifts, and cart lifts across multiple buildings. The contractor must supply all labor, equipment, PPE, documentation, and ensure compliance with ASME codes, NFPA standards, OSHA regulations, and VA policies. Performance is a base year with four optional one‑year extensions (total up to five years) under a firm‑fixed‑price arrangement.
