Tax Sale Title Search

The Town of North Kingstown is seeking proposals for title searches for the 2026 tax sale. The scope of work includes preparing certified letters, publishing notices, and recording tax collector's deeds. The successful bidder will be responsible for performing the work in accordance with the contract documents and Rhode Island state laws. Key tasks include: • Preparing certified letters to all persons required to receive notice • Publishing notices of the sale in a public newspaper and placing notices in public places • Recording tax collector's deeds within 90 days after the sale date • Preparing a form of affidavit to ensure compliance with state laws The bid will be evaluated based on the lowest evaluated or responsive bid price, and the award will be made to the bidder who offers the best value to the Town.
