Stop Loss Reinsurance

The City of League City is seeking a qualified proposer to provide stop loss reinsurance for the City's self-funded Medical and Prescription Health Plans. The proposer will be required to provide a comprehensive response to every section within the RFP, and their proposal must be limited to no more than 25 pages. The City is looking for a firm that can provide quality customer service, follow all applicable regulations and industry standards, and deliver monthly reports to monitor claims experience. • The RFP is for a three-year contract with the option to renew for two additional years. • The City has four Medical plans with Pharmacy, and the successful firm will be required to provide stop loss reinsurance for these plans. • The proposer must agree to deliver quality customer service to the City and its employees. • The proposer must provide monthly reports to monitor claims experience. • The City reserves the right to negotiate the final fee prior to recommending any vendor for a contract.
