Fairmont RFP CDBG-I Grant Administration Services

The Town of Fairmont is seeking proposals for grant administration services to assist in the management of a $3,000,000 Community Development Block Grant-Infrastructure (CDBG-I) award for the Brown Street Pump Station Rehabilitation project. The project includes rehabilitation of the existing pump station, replacement of pumps and controls, and repair/replacement of the associated mechanical bar screen. The grant administration services will include tasks such as environment review compliance, citizen participation compliance, fair housing compliance, and labor standards compliance. The selected firm will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable requirements under the North Carolina CDBG-I Program. • The project is located at 101 Brown Street, Fairmont, NC • The scope of services includes standard tasks necessary for the implementation of the project • The services will not include disbursement or account of funds distributed by the Town's financial officer, legal advice, fiscal audits, or assistance with activities not related to the CDBG-I project • Proposals will be evaluated based on criteria such as general qualifications, prior CDBG infrastructure grant experience, qualifications of actively involved staff, ability to address local needs, availability, and cost of services
