Safety Valve Inspections/Repairs for ISU Power Plant

Iowa State University of Science and Technology (ISU) is soliciting proposals from qualified contractors to provide safety valve inspections and repairs for the ISU Power Plant and other locations. The contractor will be responsible for inspecting and repairing Class I pressure vessel safety valves. The proposal should include all requirements, terms, and conditions, and the contractor should be prepared to provide additional information or participate in an on-site presentation if requested. The university may reject any proposal that does not comply with the requirements of the RFP documents. • The contractor must submit all questions and proposals through the ISUBid system. • The contractor must identify all parties involved in the performance of the contract. • The contractor must clearly state any exceptions to or deviations from the RFP documents. • The university may accept or reject any or all proposals and may request additional information or clarification from the contractor. • The contractor should be familiar with the Iowa Open Records Law and identify any confidential portions of the proposal. • The contractor must register online to receive notices and participate in ISU bidding opportunities.
