Water Treatment Plant

The US Air Force is seeking a contractor to operate, maintain, and repair the Mountain Home Air Force Base's drinking water systems, including the C.J. Strike Reservoir raw water pump station, transmission pipeline, and Class III water treatment plant. The contractor will be responsible for ensuring the facility operates 24/7 and meets all federal, state, and local water quality standards. Key responsibilities include: * Operating and maintaining the water treatment plant and associated equipment * Providing all necessary management, personnel, and supplies to ensure the facility operates 24/7 * Ensuring water quality and quantity meet or exceed EPA and state regulations * Developing and implementing a standard operating plan, operations plan, and maintenance plan * Providing monthly operations reports and other required reports * Participating in sanitary surveys and responding to customer complaints * Maintaining a written log of operations and events * Ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and guidelines The contractor will be evaluated based on their ability to meet performance objectives, including operating the facility 24 hours a day, meeting emergency response times, and providing satisfactory maintenance and repair services.
