24-25 RFP DOWNTOWN RIVERFRONT IMPROVEMENTS

The City of Fairbanks is seeking a professional consulting firm to develop a complete, construction‑ready design package for a downtown riverscape improvement project along the Chena River. The scope includes landscape architecture, public‑space planning, winter‑friendly amenities, lighting, interpretive signage, and detailed construction‑ready drawings and specifications, as well as bid‑phase support and cost estimating. The contract is hourly‑rate based with progressive design submittals (35 %, 65 %, 95 %, 100 %). The project timeline runs from the proposal deadline in late January 2025 through final design delivery in early March 2025, with ongoing monthly status reporting thereafter. • Deliver a full set of construction‑ready plans, specs, and a cost estimate for the riverfront public space. • Provide design submittals at 35 %, 65 %, 95 % and 100 % milestones, including two large‑format drawings and electronic CAD files. • Support the bidding process, answer bidder questions, and prepare any necessary addenda.
