540 Western Parkway Roof Replacement Project

The Washington County Board of Commissioners is soliciting sealed bids for the complete replacement of the existing EPDM roof membrane on the 540 Western Maryland Parkway building. The scope includes removal of the existing 4‑in. polyisocyanurate insulation, installation of an additional 1‑in. polyiso layer, placement of a new 80‑mil mechanically‑attached PVC roof membrane, installation of a ½‑in. high‑density cover board, provision of a 30‑in. PVC walk path, replacement of wall copings with aluminum/steel assemblies, removal and disposal of abandoned mechanical and electrical equipment, and associated site work such as dumpster coordination and drainage upgrades. The contractor must begin within 10 days of a Notice to Proceed (expected ≤ Nov 30 2026) and finish within 60 calendar days (target Jan 2027).
