Description
The Alaska Energy Authority (AEA) is seeking a qualified contractor to renovate and upgrade the existing overhead electrical distribution system in Napaskiak, Alaska. The work includes installing new primary and secondary conductors, replacing/adding transformers (owner‑furnished), erecting new wood utility poles, installing guy wires, anchors, grounding, surge arresters, and performing testing and commissioning. The contractor must provide all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, transportation, quality‑control, and related services, complying with Davis‑Bacon, Buy‑America, and other federal regulations. The contract is funded by State of Alaska and the Denali Commission, with an estimated construction cost between $750,000 and $1,500,000.
