ENG 26-063 Comprehensive Transportation Safety Action Plan

The City of Avondale is seeking a qualified firm to provide consulting services to research and draft a comprehensive Safety Action Plan. The plan will focus on improving safety for motor/electric vehicles, pedestrians, bicyclists, and electric bikes. The selected firm will be responsible for conducting a city-wide inventory and gap analysis, recommending safety improvements, and developing policies and procedures to promote a safe and efficient multi-modal transportation system. The firm will also be required to provide public engagement, design recommendations, and cost estimates. • The project will include all arterial and collector streets and related intersections. • The firm will be required to conduct inclusive public and stakeholder engagement and coordinate with overlapping jurisdictions. • The firm will be required to identify underserved communities and evaluate equity impacts of proposed strategies. • The firm will be required to establish performance measures and reporting methods to track progress and ensure ongoing public transparency.
