Description

The Arizona Game and Fish Department is seeking a qualified contractor to provide statewide septic‑system Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul (MRO) services. The work includes inspections, imaging, cleaning, pumping, hauling, disposal, emergency response, and detailed reporting for all AZGFD wastewater, septic and vault‑toilet facilities. The contract is fixed‑price, initially for one year with the possibility of extensions up to five years. The contractor must maintain an Arizona office, hold the required licenses and insurance, and be capable of 24/7 emergency response with specific turnaround times. • Perform septic‑system pumping, cleaning, and disposal within 48 hours of notification. • Respond to emergency pump calls within 24 hours (3 hours for wastewater‑facility emergencies). • Submit post‑service reports, photos, dump tickets, and any required documentation after each job. • Meet all applicable federal, state, tribal, and local environmental and safety regulations. • Provide pricing for per‑gallon pumping, labor rates, parts discounts, and optional travel/trip charges.

Budget estimate

$250,000 – $2,500,000

No total contract value is disclosed. Based on typical statewide septic‑system service contracts, a one‑year term could generate anywhere from a few hundred thousand dollars (for modest volumes) up to several million dollars if high‑volume pumping, extensive emergency calls, and large‑scale disposal are required. Assuming an average per‑gallon pump rate of $15 and an estimated 1–5 million gallons pumped annually, plus labor, parts, and travel, a reasonable estimate ranges from $250,000 at the low end to $2,500,000 at the high end.
