FURNISHING HYDROFLUOSILICIC ACID FOR WATER TREATMENT

The Metropolitan District is soliciting sealed bids to purchase and deliver bulk Hydrofluosilicic Acid (HFS) for potable‑water treatment at two facilities in the West Hartford area. The contractor will be responsible for sourcing, transporting, and supplying the chemical in accordance with the District’s specifications and schedule, with proposals due by early September 2025. • Provide bulk Hydrofluosilicic Acid (HFS) for water treatment applications. • Deliver to West Hartford Water Treatment Facility and Reservoir No. 6 Water Treatment Facility. • Must submit sealed proposals by September 4, 2025; questions must be submitted by August 22, 2025. • All bidders must be qualified companies capable of handling hazardous chemical logistics.
