The U.S. Air Force’s 436th Contracting Squadron at Dover AFB seeks a firm‑fixed‑price vendor to design, manufacture, deliver, and provide on‑site training for one (1) self‑contained, 20‑foot ISO‑compliant Mobile Embalming Unit (MEU). The unit must be built on a certified high‑cube ISO shipping container, be transportable by C‑17, C‑5, and standard flatbeds, and operate in temperatures from 0 °F to 120 °F. Key deliverables include a tri‑fuel generator with auto‑transfer switch, HVAC system meeting 15 ACH and bio‑containment standards, integrated water and wastewater tanks totaling 880 gal (275 gal fresh, 275 gal waste, 330 gal reserve), fixed shelving, mandatory garbage disposal, and internal privacy doors at both ends. The contractor must ship FOB Destination to Dover AFB and complete delivery within 120 days of order receipt, then provide one full day of training for up to six personnel.
