30-26383-EIPD Vehicle Conversion and Driving Modification Package 2025-2026 New Chrysler Pacifica Touring or Touring L with BraunAbility Dropped Floor Conversion Package

The Department of Health and Human Services is seeking a vendor to provide a new 2025-2026 Chrysler Pacifica Touring or Touring L with a BraunAbility dropped floor conversion package. The package should include additional modifications such as a sliding side door, ramp with manual emergency back-up, removable seats, rubberized flooring, kneeling system, and door/ramp controls. The vendor should also provide a warranty on the conversion. The contract will be for a period of one year. • The vendor must be a North Carolina registered vendor in good standing. • The vendor must provide a free product demonstration with the proposed vehicle at the client's residence to ensure a proper wheelchair/client fit. • The vendor must comply with all federal and state requirements concerning fair employment and not discriminate against any employee. • The vendor must provide training on the safe and proper use of all adaptive equipment installed. • The vendor must provide a vehicle loading certificate and explain the vehicle loading to the client.
