Locally Employed Staff Health Insurance Services for U.S. Embassy Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan

The U.S. Department of State is seeking a contractor to provide comprehensive health insurance services for approximately 789 covered individuals at the U.S. Embassy in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan. The contract will be for a period of five years, with four optional annual extensions. The contractor will be responsible for administering the health insurance program, including claims processing, provider network management, and customer service. The contractor must demonstrate experience in providing comparable health insurance services and have the capability to operate in Kyrgyzstan. • The contractor must provide a detailed narrative describing its organizational capability to administer a comprehensive health insurance program. • The contractor must demonstrate its ability to receive payments from the U.S. Government through authorized banking channels. • The contractor must establish procedures for handling medical insurance claims and provide the necessary claim forms for each type of benefit. • The contractor must settle claims no later than two weeks from the date the claim is submitted. • The contractor must provide a monthly report listing all claims paid, including the name of the claimant, date claim is received, and the amount claimed.
