The City of Lincoln‑Lancaster County Health Department is seeking qualified contractors to provide on‑call emergency hazardous chemical and environmental response services throughout Lancaster County and, on rare occasions, beyond. The contract is a one‑year term with up to three optional one‑year renewals, and it allows multiple contractors to be hired. Services include rapid (within one hour) on‑site response, hazardous material identification, sampling, analysis, remediation, transportation, temporary storage, and disposal of hazardous wastes in compliance with OSHA, NFPA, DOT, EPA, and state regulations. Contractors must maintain 24‑hour availability, possess required certifications (OSHA 40‑hour hazardous materials, NFPA, hazmat endorsements), and may subcontract only with full responsibility for cost and compliance. The contract does not obligate the agency to purchase any specific service; it is an “as‑needed” quotation framework.
