INSURANCE BROKERAGE, RISK MANAGEMENT, and THIRD-PARTY ADMINSTRATION (TPA) COUNTY of LANCASTER, PA

The County of Lancaster is seeking proposals for insurance brokerage, risk management, and third-party administration (TPA) services. The successful proposer will provide comprehensive insurance market analysis, procure insurance, maintain and administer insurance policies, identify risks, and provide claim investigation and administration services. The proposer must have demonstrated experience in providing these services to municipal entities. Key personnel assigned to the contract must have at least 5 years of experience in disciplines related to the scope of services. The contract will require the proposer to work effectively in a collaborative environment and provide exceptional communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. • The proposer must provide a detailed description of the specific services to be provided, including whether County employees are needed to participate and the extent of their participation. • The proposer must have recent knowledge and experience managing the construction of correctional facilities or public or governmental facilities of similar size and scope as the project. • The proposer must be able to work effectively in a very collaborative environment with a focus on quality and communication. • The proposer must provide contingency procedures in the event any key personnel assigned to the account leave the firm. • The proposer must provide a detailed description of their experience with Pennsylvania insurance law and specifically with Pennsylvania municipal and public entity insurance. • The proposer must provide a description of their knowledge of insurance markets and risk management techniques as they pertain to governmental entities.
