The Training and Readiness Accelerator II (TREX II) seeks a contractor to develop a 120 mm mortar training system that can be installed in both the Armored Multi‑Purpose Vehicle (AMPV) and the Stryker M1129 Mortar Carrier. The system must allow rapid install/de‑install (under five minutes), use training rounds weighing 25‑35 lb, pose no safety hazard, and support adjustable fire and multi‑fire scenarios to emulate a maximum rate of 16 rounds per minute.
