EOI Combined Support Maintenance Shop Exhaust System Repairs

The State of West Virginia, Department of Administration, Purchasing Division is seeking expressions of interest from qualified firms to provide architectural and engineering services for the design and development of construction documents for upgrades to the Combined Support Maintenance Shop (CSMS) Exhaust System located at the JFRC in Eleanor, West Virginia. The selected vendor will need to conduct a complete inspection of the underground exhaust system, determine the cause of the failure, and provide a design fix for the problem. The project goals and objectives include providing a design that incorporates all engineering and architectural disciplines, cost-effective energy-conserving features, and researching and investigating the location of existing underground and above-ground utilities. The vendor will be required to provide construction bid services and submit drawings, specifications, and cost estimates at various stages of the project. • The project requires a design fix for the current vehicle exhaust ventilation system. • The designer shall provide all geotechnical work, if required, and research and investigate the location of existing underground and above-ground utilities. • The vendor shall provide construction bid services and submit drawings, specifications, and cost estimates at 35%, 95%, and 100% digitally. • The vendor shall provide a statement of qualifications and performance data, including staff qualifications and experience in completing similar projects.
