Wastewater Collection System Hydraulic Modeling Services

The City of St. Joseph, Missouri is seeking a qualified engineering and hydraulic‑modeling firm to update, expand, calibrate, and integrate its east‑side sanitary sewer and west‑side combined sewer hydraulic models. The consultant will consolidate the two existing models onto a common platform, bring them current with recent capital improvements, add detail to the combined‑sewer model, develop and execute a flow‑and‑rainfall monitoring program for recalibration, reassess design‑storm assumptions, and deliver full documentation, training, and workshops for City staff. The effort includes data review, model conversion, QA/QC, calibration, and final deliverables such as technical memoranda, native model files, and user guides. • Consolidate existing InfoWorks ICM (sanitary) and XP‑SWMM (combined) models onto a single platform. • Update both models to reflect current conditions and recent infrastructure projects. • Expand the combined‑sewer model with detailed trunk and local sewers, sub‑catchments, and hydraulic elements. • Design and implement a flow‑meter and rain‑gauge monitoring program for model recalibration. • Reevaluate and update design‑storm assumptions using current precipitation data. • Produce comprehensive technical documentation, training workshops, and final presentations.
