Towing Rotation Services for Police Department

The City of Sandy is seeking proposals for towing rotation services for the police department. The selected vendor will provide 24-hour towing services for wrecked, impounded, and non-drivable vehicles, as well as related services for other motor vehicles. The contract will be for a period of three years, with an option to renew for an additional two years. The vendor must comply with all applicable state and local statutes and regulations, including obtaining a Sandy City business license and a certified State Tax Yard within Sandy City. The vendor must also provide evidence of ability to obtain a certificate of insurance that meets Sandy City's requirements. • The towing company shall obtain and keep a current Sandy City business license • The towing company shall have a certified State Tax Yard within Sandy City • The yard must be manned Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, except on Utah holidays • The wrecker service called to tow a disabled vehicle must be at the scene of a call anywhere within the City limits within 20 minutes except under extraordinary conditions • Vendors must be able to tow motor homes, house trailers, utility trailers, and boat trailers
