Generator Load Bank Testing Services

The Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA) is seeking a qualified contractor to perform a 4-hour load bank test to verify the operational performance of the Baldor generator (Model: IDLC2000-M, Serial No. 96540793) and associated equipment at the Carmen Turner Facility (CTF) located at 3500 Pennsy Dr, Landover, MD 20785. The contractor will be required to provide the necessary equipment and personnel to perform the test. The solicitation includes five line items: EPA fee, labor, mileage, service (2MW load bank and cable), and supplies (shop supplies). • The contractor must provide a qualified technician to perform the test. • The contractor must provide all necessary equipment and materials to perform the test. • The contractor must ensure that the test is performed in a safe and efficient manner. • The contractor must provide a report detailing the results of the test. • The contractor must be able to complete the test within the specified timeframe.
