Boone County Parks – Union Park Master Plan Update

Boone County Fiscal Court is seeking a qualified consultant to update the Union Park Master Plan. The plan will guide future parks and recreation services, facilities, and capital improvements based on demographic trends, public input, and evaluation of existing assets. The consultant will conduct community engagement, analyze demographic data, and develop a master plan that includes recommendations for park facilities, programs, and services. The scope of work includes planning context, existing programs and facilities analysis, technical report and presentation, needs analysis, physical planning and recommendations, and draft and final reports. • The consultant will engage with community representatives, perform demographic analysis, and review previous studies related to parks and recreation. • The consultant will conduct public meetings, focus groups, and interviews with stakeholders to gather input on existing facilities and future needs. • The consultant will develop a master plan that includes conceptual plans, cost estimates, and prioritization of capital improvements. • The consultant will prepare a technical report, draft master plan, and final master plan, and present findings to the Boone County Parks Department and Committee.
