Description
The City of Colorado Springs is seeking a qualified, licensed contractor to rebuild the non‑potable irrigation pond at the Valley Hi Golf Course. The project includes site clearing, excavation, removal of existing sediment and poor‑quality rip‑rock, installation of a synthetic liner, placement of clean fill and new rip‑rock, and installation of diffuser assemblies and associated mechanical/electrical systems. Work must be completed by early March 2027 and includes a two‑year warranty on all workmanship and materials.
• Demolition, excavation, and haul‑off of up to 3,000 CY of material.
• Installation of a 45‑mil synthetic liner covering ~51,240 SF and associated grading.
• Placement of 2,600 tons of clean fill dirt and 650 tons of rip‑rock, plus construction of diffuser and compressor systems.
• Full compliance with city, state, and federal environmental, safety, and licensing requirements; required bonds and insurance.
