RFP 26-105 City of Wheaton Janitorial Services

The City of Wheaton is seeking a vendor to provide janitorial services for City facilities. The vendor will be responsible for daily cleaning as well as scheduled seasonal cleaning. The contract term will be for one year, with the option to extend for two additional one-year terms. The vendor must meet certain qualifications, including being a full-time, commercially licensed and insured janitorial service provider, and having a minimum of five years' experience in cleaning and janitorial maintenance at municipal operations. • The vendor must provide all necessary equipment and supplies, except for certain cleaning supplies that will be provided by the City. • The vendor must comply with all OSHA and other federal and state safety standards and laws. • The vendor must provide training to its employees on the safe handling of chemicals and other hazardous materials. • The vendor must have a plan in place for responding to emergencies and spills. • The vendor must be able to provide services for all City facilities listed in the scope of services.
