The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is conducting a market survey to gather information on potential contractors for the implementation of guy system tensioning, minor guy system repair, and new grounding installation on USFS tower assets. The scope of work includes tensioning guy wires, performing corrosion abatement and control, installing safety wires, and providing grounding systems. The project will be completed within 30 days of start, and the contractor is required to submit a preliminary schedule and a final schedule two weeks prior to start of work. The contractor must also provide a remediation plan, test data, and pictures of below-grade work. • The project includes three sites: Airey South Repeater, Erambert Orchard Repeater, and Wausau Repeater. • The contractor must have experience in providing installation services throughout various locations within the continental United States and its territories. • The contractor must provide a capability statement, including history of providing installation services, relevant previous contracts and awards, and information on pertinent current government support activities. • The contractor must also provide information on their expected programmatic approach, including the percentage of work that will be done by eligible small, service-disabled veteran-owned, and 8(a) certified businesses.
