The National Park Service is seeking a contractor to provide two variable message signs (VMS) for Harpers Ferry National Historical Park. The signs must be solar-powered and changeable remotely through computer or phone. The contractor must provide a total small business set-aside brand name or equal requirement, with all documentation proving equality submitted with the proposal. The period of performance is from September 9, 2026, to December 31, 2026. Key characteristics of the signs include a raised height of 158 inches, travel height of 103 inches, width of 96 inches, and length with tongue of 168 inches. The signs must also have a solar panel array, deep cycle batteries, and a leak-resistant electro-hydraulic lift mechanism. • The signs must be delivered between 7:00 am and 2:00 pm Eastern, Monday through Friday, with no deliveries on weekends or federal government holidays. • The contractor must provide a one-year warranty on the sign and trailer unit. • The government shall notify the contractor of the point of contact at the time of award. • The destination point for delivery is the National Park Service, 171 Shoreline Drive, Harpers Ferry, WV 25425.
