Logo Sign Program - Region 1

The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is seeking a qualified firm to manage the Region 1 Logo Sign Program on limited‑access highways. The contractor will conduct marketing studies, process permits, perform annual inventories and inspections, design, fabricate, construct, install, maintain, repair, and replace logo sign structures, and develop a web‑based database and public website for the program. The scope also includes providing a dedicated on‑site staff member in Tallahassee, delivering quarterly reports, and offering emergency coverage for the opposite region if needed. The contract is expected to commence by April 1 2027 and will run for the life of the program, with a minimum eight‑hour‑per‑day Florida office. • Conduct marketing studies to identify eligible interchanges and recruit businesses. • Process new logo‑sign permit applications and issue annual permit renewals. • Engineer, fabricate, construct, install, and maintain logo sign structures (mainline and ramp). • Perform annual on‑site inventories and detailed inspections of all signs. • Provide repair, refurbishment, or replacement of signs per current FDOT standards. • Design, develop, and maintain a secure, real‑time web‑based database and public website. • Submit quarterly performance and marketing reports to FDOT. • Provide a senior clerk‑level liaison in FDOT’s Right‑of‑Way office. • Offer emergency/transition coverage for the other region (up to six months).
