RFI Unclaimed Property Division Appraisal Services

The Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts is seeking information regarding appraisal services for a wide range of asset types, including jewelry, watches, coins, artwork, sports memorabilia, and comic books. The goal of this Request for Information (RFI) is to understand the available solutions and information regarding local appraisal services, and to identify key subject matter experts. • The RFI seeks information on the respondent's experience in the industry, approach to verifying authenticity and assigning value to items, and pricing structure for appraisal services. • Respondents are encouraged to submit relevant supplemental information, such as case studies, demonstrations, presentations, and client references. • The RFI responses will be used to prepare specifications for a possible future solicitation, but this RFI is not a solicitation for a contract and does not obligate the Comptroller to issue a solicitation or initiate a procurement process.
