Call for Artists Mural at Primrose Park -Informal

The City of Fulshear is seeking an artist or artist team to design and install an original mural at Primrose Park. The mural should reflect themes appropriate for a public park environment, with a 'Fulshear-centric' theme. The selected artist will be responsible for the design, preparation, and installation of the mural, including providing all materials and supplies necessary to complete the project. The project budget is $20,000, and the mural should be substantially complete within 90 calendar days of the Notice to Proceed. • The mural will be on the south-facing wall of the concessions building at Primrose Park. • The wall being used for the mural is highly textured and is 177.6 square feet (24 X 7.4 feet). • The City reserves the right to accept or reject any submission, request revisions to proposed artwork, select an artist based on qualifications and concept, and cancel or modify the project if necessary. • The selected artist will be required to enter into a formal agreement with the City of Fulshear, sign an artist release form, and provide required insurance documentation before work begins.
