Youth & Young Adult Employment Program

The City of St. Petersburg is seeking a qualified provider to administer the Youth & Young Adult Employment Program. The selected vendor will serve as the program administrator, providing comprehensive services including recruiting, screening, HR operations, and participant placement. The program aims to provide employment opportunities for youth and young adults, with a focus on residents of the South St. Petersburg Community Redevelopment Area. The vendor will be responsible for developing a recruitment strategy, providing orientation and training, and ensuring that participants meet eligibility requirements. The program will have a term of one year, with the option to renew for up to four additional years. • The vendor must have demonstrated experience in administering similar youth employment services. • The vendor must provide access to applications and staff in multiple locations. • The vendor must have the facilities and resources to mobilize, recruit, screen, and place participants into eligible positions within 14 days of the program's start. • The vendor must ensure that participants meet eligibility requirements prior to placement. • The vendor must provide supervision, monitoring, and performance evaluations for participants.
