Request for Proposals (RFP) for Waste Management and Recycling Services

The Washington County Department of Public Health and Environment is seeking proposals for waste management and recycling services. The contract will be for a period of 36 months, with the option to auto-renew for up to two additional one-year terms. The selected contractor will be responsible for providing collection services for mixed solid waste and recyclables, as well as processing and marketing of recyclable materials. The contractor will also be required to provide on-call services, maintain equipment, and submit monthly reports. • The contractor must have experience in providing waste management and recycling services to clients of comparable size and scope. • The contractor must be able to provide all necessary equipment and personnel to perform the services outlined in the RFP. • The contractor must be able to comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. • The contractor must be able to provide a sample monthly report with its proposal. • The contractor must be able to provide documentation of all services performed and any recommendations for future maintenance or repair.
