Donelson Station Transit Center Building Design

WeGo Public Transit is soliciting architecture, landscape architecture, and engineering design services from qualified consultant firms for a transit center building at Donelson Station. The successful consultant will provide design services to deliver a project that enhances transit service, access, and rider experience, and facilitates local and regional transit connectivity. The scope of work includes project management, public and stakeholder engagement, schematic design, design development, bid and final construction documents, and construction administration. The contract will be for a term of three years following the Notice to Proceed. • The project involves designing a transit center building that integrates roadway and transit infrastructure improvements. • The consultant will provide comprehensive construction administration services through project closeout. • The consultant must demonstrate the capability to coordinate, manage, and oversee various activities, including conducting and supporting preconstruction meetings, attending and documenting site and construction progress meetings, and reviewing and recommending approval of contractor pay applications. • The consultant will maintain thorough and accurate project records to ensure full compliance with all applicable funding requirements. • The consultant will be responsible for developing a design within a stipulated not-to-exceed construction budget. • The consultant will assist in the review of all bids and make a recommendation concerning contract award.
