Emergency Contractor Services- Sewer Mains, Water Mains and Services

The Township of Ocean is seeking a qualified contractor to provide emergency repair services for its water‑distribution and sanitary‑sewer systems, including mobilization, excavation, pipe replacement, traffic control, and site restoration. The work is to be performed on a 365‑day schedule after award, with immediate mobilization requirements and strict bonding, insurance, and prevailing‑wage compliance. • Scope covers emergency repair of water mains, sewer mains, laterals, and related utilities (pipe, valves, fittings, backfill, testing, and restoration). • Contractor must maintain an inventory of specific pipe sizes (6″ & 8″ ductile‑iron, 4″ & 8″ PVC) and be able to mobilize within 3 hours of award. • Mandatory bid bond (≥10 % of bid, ≤ $20 k), surety consent, NJ business and public‑works registration, and compliance with prevailing‑wage, ADA, and affirmative‑action statutes.
