REQUEST FOR APPRENTICE WAIVER

This solicitation is a formal request for an apprentice waiver to allow the subcontractor A‑Var Electric Inc. to proceed on the “Refurbish Ash Conveyor System, Heat” project at the Colorado Mental Health Institute in Pueblo without meeting the standard Colorado apprenticeship requirements. The waiver is needed because either no eligible subcontractors or no apprenticeship programs exist within a 50‑mile radius.
