Lakeland Electric - Unit 5 - 2026 Fall Outage Contract Services

The City of Lakeland is soliciting qualified boiler and HRSG (Heat Recovery Steam Generator) contractors to execute a turnkey outage‑maintenance package on Unit 5 of the McIntosh Power Plant during a scheduled fall outage (Nov 29 – Dec 19 2026). The contractor must provide code‑compliant welding, inspection, and repair services for thin‑wall HRSG tubes, heavy‑wall P91 piping, packing‑gland seal replacements, IP drum door replacements, turbine drain valve replacements, and a fixed‑price reheat desuperheater spray‑liner spool swap. Additional “general outage repairs” will be priced on a time‑and‑materials basis after inspection. All work must meet ASME BPVC, include QA/QC documentation, and comply with City safety and environmental requirements. A bid bond (≥5 % of price) and post‑award public‑construction bond are required.
