U9 FGD/BATW ZERO LIQUID DISCHARGE PROJECT

The Muscatine Power and Water is seeking bids for the U9 FGD/BATW ZERO LIQUID DISCHARGE PROJECT - TANK EQUIPMENT IFP. The project involves the engineering, design, supply, fabrication, delivery, erection, inspection, testing, and documentation of a 200,000 gallon nominal volume storage tank for installation in FGD calcium sulfate and bottom ash service at the MPW Unit 9 Generation Station. The tank is to be welded construction in accordance with the Specification and API Std. 650. • The project includes the fabrication and delivery of a 33’ internal diameter x 32’ high, open-top, 317L stainless steel tank complete with spiral stairs, agitator supports, access platform, nozzles, manway, cleanout, anchor bolt chairs, and grounding lugs. • The project also includes the supply of external pipe support clips for shell piping. • Bidders are required to submit their bids electronically through Ion Wave. • The deadline for questions is 8/30/2026 03:00 PM (CT), and the submission deadline is 9/3/2026 03:00 PM (CT).
