Architectural and Engineering (A/E) Services for the Gracedale Therapeutic Garden

The County of Northampton is seeking architectural and engineering (A/E) services for the design, specification, and construction of a Therapeutic Garden at the Gracedale Nursing Home. The garden will be installed within an existing courtyard area and will include a water feature, pergola, ADA-accessible planting boxes, benches, and fencing with a lockable gate. The selected firm will be responsible for completing all design services within six months from the Notice to Proceed, with construction administration services continuing until project completion. • The scope of work includes attending a project kick-off meeting, developing a conceptual plan, and preparing final construction plans and technical specifications. • The firm must demonstrate experience in conducting efforts of the nature and scope required by this request for proposal. • The evaluation criteria include narrative demonstrating project understanding and approach, resumes of project staff, firm qualifications and experience, and price. • The firm must provide proof of professional liability insurance, executed non-collusion affidavit, and criminal history verification form. • The contract will be awarded based on the firm's qualifications, experience, and price.
