Description
The U.S. Embassy in Guatemala is seeking a qualified contractor to design, fabricate, deliver, install, test, and train on a tactical floating dock system for INL support of Guatemalan Special Naval Forces. The contract covers a modular polyethylene dock, a wood‑deck platform, a wood gangway, a reinforced‑concrete pedestrian walkway, all associated engineering studies, design submittals, installation, warranty, training, and documentation. The work must be completed within 30 calendar days of receiving a Notice to Proceed, and the total contract value is expected between $15,000 and $30,000.
• Provide one (1) tactical floating dock consisting of three (3) modular LLDPE sections with rubber couplers and anchoring.
• Fabricate and install a wood‑treated deck, a wood gangway, and a 20‑cm thick reinforced‑concrete walkway, including all civil‑works and site preparation.
• Deliver full design packages (65 % and 100 %), as‑built drawings, operation & maintenance manuals, a 10‑year warranty on the dock, and on‑site training (including video) for INL personnel.
