NRCS-Utah Cultural Resources Inventory Services, Iron County

The Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) in Utah is soliciting proposals from Cultural Resource Management firms to conduct an intensive pedestrian cultural resources inventory on approximately 775 acres of private land in Iron County, Utah. The project aims to identify historic properties that may be adversely affected by the undertaking, which involves implementing conservation practices such as mechanical brush management, range planting, and forest stand improvement treatments. The contractor will be required to provide Cultural Resource Inventory and Recordation services, including conducting fieldwork, reporting, and quality assurance. The evaluation criteria include technical factors such as personnel qualifications, compliance, and past experience, as well as price. • The contractor must have technical expertise in conducting cultural resources fieldwork and reporting. • The contractor must have experience working in Utah and/or neighboring states. • The contractor must have a Principal Investigator who holds a current permit issued through the State of Utah's Office of Archaeology and Historic Preservation (OAHP). • The contractor must have the necessary equipment and personnel to furnish services in the required volume. • The contractor must have a quality assurance and quality control plan in place.
