Construction Engineering and Inspection Svcs for Farmwell Road Intersection Improvements, RFQ 708023

The County of Loudoun, Virginia is seeking proposals from qualified Construction Engineering and Inspection (CEI) Services firms to provide comprehensive support for the construction of the Farmwell Road Intersection, Pedestrian, and Bicycle Improvements Project. The selected Consultant will provide full-time on-site inspection, construction administration, materials sampling and testing, documentation management, and related engineering and compliance support. The project includes intersection improvements, pedestrian and bicycling mobility enhancements, and roadway drainage, stormwater management, and erosion and sediment control design. The Consultant will be responsible for monitoring and inspecting the work of the Construction Contractor, identifying discrepancies, and reporting them to the County. • The project is expected to last approximately 36 months. • The Consultant will provide a minimum of one Construction Manager, one Senior Inspector, and one full-time on-site Construction Inspector. • The Consultant will be responsible for performing all on-site materials testing and providing all necessary equipment and supplies. • The Consultant will be required to attend all project-related meetings and provide timely and accurate information to the County. • The Consultant will be responsible for maintaining accurate and complete project records and ensuring that all work is performed in accordance with the approved plans, specifications, and Construction Contract requirements.
