Rental of Portable Toilets and Showers

The City of Austin is seeking a contractor to provide rental, delivery, maintenance, and service of portable toilets and showers. The contractor will be required to provide a variety of units, including single-seat and multi-unit trailers, with options for ADA-compliant units and hand-cleaning stations. The contractor will also be responsible for servicing the units, including removing waste, cleaning and disinfecting the units, and replenishing consumable supplies. The contract will be for a period of one year, with options for renewal. • The contractor must provide units that meet specific requirements, including being weatherproof, having a durable rigid frame, and being well-ventilated. • The contractor must service the units at least once per week, unless otherwise specified by the Contract Manager. • The contractor must provide a supervisor to perform spot checks a minimum of two times per week. • The contractor must remove graffiti from units when found, either during cleaning procedure, or within 24 hours after notification from the Contract Manager. • The contractor must remove or replace damaged or non-functional rental units when found, either during cleaning procedure, or within 24 hours after notification from the Contract Manager.
