The Commonwealth of Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation is seeking qualified vendors to provide a full suite of portable‑toilet services for special events, beaches, parks and other temporary‑use locations throughout the state. The requirement covers three product families—standard portable toilets (including ADA‑accessible units), composting (environmentally‑preferable) toilets, and trailer‑mounted restroom systems—along with delivery, installation, routine servicing, waste removal, winterization and rapid‑replacement services. Bidders must submit detailed pricing tables for daily, weekly and monthly rates by region, demonstrate experience within the past five years, and comply with the Commonwealth’s Prompt‑Payment Discount, Supplier‑Diversity, and Environmental‑Preferable‑Products programs. The contract will be awarded to up to three contractors for an initial three‑year term with one optional two‑year renewal.
• Provide standard, wheelchair‑accessible, and multi‑unit portable toilet units, plus optional flushing and hand‑sanitizer accessories.
• Offer composting toilet models (e.g., Clivus Multrum equivalents) and trailer‑mounted restroom systems with water‑tank, waste‑tank and pump equipment.
• Deliver statewide service (Boston, NE, SE, Central, Western regions), meet rapid‑response replacement (2‑hour) and regular servicing schedules, and comply with ADA, ASTM/NEMA/UL standards.
