Quantum Cascade Laser (QCL) System

The National Energy Technology Laboratory (NETL) is seeking a Quantum Cascade Laser (QCL) system operating in the mid-infrared (mid-IR) region. The system must be suitable for planar laser-induced fluorescence (PLIF) measurements of carbon dioxide (CO2) in combustion and reacting-flow environments. The system should include all necessary components to operate as a turnkey laser source for spectroscopic diagnostics. This system will support ongoing research within NETL’s Turbines & Combustion portfolio. • The system must operate in the mid-infrared region. • The system must be suitable for PLIF measurements of CO2. • The system must include all necessary components to operate as a turnkey laser source. • The system will support research within NETL’s Turbines & Combustion portfolio.
