On Call Architecture and Landscape Architecture Services

The City of Portland is seeking proposals for on-call architecture and landscape architecture services. The City anticipates an increase in need for these services over the next two years and plans to award up to 5 price agreements in each service category. The successful proposers will provide services on an as-needed basis, and task orders will be issued as individual project needs are identified. The scope of work includes architecture services, such as designing improvements to playgrounds, trails, bridges, buildings, and other park facilities, and landscape architecture services, such as designing outdoor spaces and landscapes. The City encourages proposers to incorporate environmentally preferable products or services into their work performance. Some key points to consider: • The City may award multiple price agreements per service category, and the number of price agreements awarded in each service category shall be at the sole discretion of the City. • Proposers who submit proposals for multiple service categories may be awarded a price agreement in multiple service categories. • The City desires to award price agreements to proposers who support the City's corporate responsibility initiatives, including providing equal opportunity and access in subcontracting to all businesses, including minority- and women-owned businesses. • The City's goal is to expand economic opportunities by growing both the demand for and capacity of local consultants through outreach efforts to a wide range of businesses. • The City prefers goods or services that have been manufactured or produced by a Local Business. • The City reserves the right to modify, revise, or cancel this RFP. • The City reserves the right to reject any or all responses to the RFP if found in the City's best interest to do so. • Proposals received after the scheduled closing time for filing will be rejected as non-responsive and returned to the proposer unopened.
