GIMC - Air Quality Testing

The Gallup Indian Medical Center (GIMC) on the Navajo Nation seeks a licensed contractor to perform post‑abatement air quality testing for asbestos‑containing material (ACM) in two operating‑room locations after removal work is completed. The contractor must conduct two separate 2‑hour sampling events per location, use TEM analysis per NIOSH 7402, provide accredited laboratory results, and submit final reports by September 30 2026. The work window is 30 days (09/14/2026 – 10/13/2026). • Perform two (2) air‑quality assessments per location (OR‑5 and OR Sterilizer Room). • Use TEM (NIOSH 7402) with 25 mm cellulose‑ester filters, 0.45‑1.2 µm pore, flow 0.5‑16 L/min. • Minimum 2 hours sampling per location; provide 2‑10 field blanks. • Deliver separate lab reports for each location no later than 9/30/2026. • Contractor and lab must hold appropriate licenses (OSHA Class III, AHERA, NIST NVLAP). • Coordination with ACM removal contractor; testing follows each day’s removal. • No visual clearance inspection required from the testing contractor.
