Description

The E-Seal Technology is a new paradigm for leaky well remediation, offering a transformative answer to the world's aging wells. The technology uses a liquid sealant that flows like water until an applied electric field steers its engineered micelles directly into sub-millimeter cracks, then transforms into a durable, jammed plug that holds even after the power is switched off. The technology has several advantages, including reaching sub-millimeter microfractures and microannuli, maintaining sealing performance under high temperatures and pressures, delivering an estimated tenfold cost advantage, mitigating galvanic corrosion of well casings, and using an AI-guided control system. The technology has various market applications, including oil and gas recovery, geothermal energy, carbon capture, critical infrastructure, and mining and subsurface storage. Some key points to consider: • The technology is suitable for micron-scale defects in any cementitious, porous, or fractured medium. • The technology can be used for well integrity repair, asset life extension, and methane leak compliance. • The technology has a high potential for cost savings and improved efficiency. • The technology is still in the development stage and requires further testing and validation.

Budget estimate

$100,000 – $1,000,000

The budget for this opportunity is difficult to estimate, as it depends on various factors such as the scope of the project, the number of wells to be remediated, and the cost savings achieved. However, considering the technology's potential for cost savings and improved efficiency, a rough estimate could be in the range of $100,000 to $1,000,000. The actual budget could be higher or lower, depending on the specific requirements of the project and the terms of the licensing agreement.
